Native Workforce is currently in the process of training a KVAR Factory Certified Workforce. Through our partners, we have
installations nationwide and more opportunities will be available soon.
KVAR training and installation are eligible under the Economic Stimulus Recovery Plan under energy efficiency green
upgrades/retrofits, so there are several methods of applying for funding to pay for your training.
With this training, you may either get hired by an electrical contractor, or develop a small KVAR installation business of
your own. Native Workforce will be sub-contracting installation jobs as we progress with our own contracts.

Certified KVAR Residential Technician: For residential installations only. Applicants should be HVAC technicians, certified
electricians or equivalent experience .Some states require you to be certified electricians and some do not, pleas check
the requirement in your individual location. Training is Workforce Investment Act (WIA) eligible.
Certified KVAR Master Installer Includes residential, commercial & industrial. Training is WIA eligible. Train the Trainer
program requires applicants to be HVAC Technicians, journeyman, master electricians or electrical engineers..
